Team Formation

High School Teams - (Division C) May contain up to 15 students, with a maximum of seven 12th grade students.

Middle School and Junior High teams -(Division B) May contain a maximum of 15 students, with a maximum of five 9th grade students. Middle schools may invite up to five of last years eighth grade students (Now 9th grade students at another building within the district) to be part of the team.

All team members must be registered in only one team. Multiple teams from each school are permitted. However, each team must register separately with a unique team name. (i.e. team "A", team "B")

State Tournament Competition
The Wyoming State Science Olympiad competition will be held on the Casper College Campus in Casper, WY. The State Olympiad will support separate competitions in both "B" and "C" age divisions.

Membership
A membership fee of $85.00 per team must be submitted with the completed membership form by the last Friday in February. The membership entitles each team to a copy of the coaches manual, event rules, and eligibility for one team to compete in the current years Wyoming State Science Olympiad Tournament. If a school wishes to enter multiple teams in the state tournament the school must submit an entry fee for each team. The winning team in each division will become eligible to advance to the National Science Olympiad competition.
